In the construction of this office building in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat carrying out an exhaustive study of the environment and the shadows on the building implanting passive exterior protection.
Building envelope consists of a double skin, the outer is composed of metal ribs, which in turn serve to protect the direct solar radiation on the inside. The second one made of glass allows natural lighting on the inside, while that communicate with the outside.
There is also high-efficiency heating systems: adiabatic recuperators, condensing boilers, and take advantage of natural lighting. Assumes 32.6% of the consumption of the reference building.
